Just what it says on the tin. ^^
How much of a disappointment was the last episode? Seriously? And just how more attractive can the Darby accent get? HA.
Okay, it was decision time for Effy, and she chose the most obvious envious choice in the world - the bloody boring but beautiful [calm down, alliteration monkey] Freddie. What a surprise. Poor Cook, if only he was a 6ft pretty Italian boy, he would certainly get the girl. HOWEVER, at least Cook was fairly exciting. A nob, yes, but exciting. He did stuff, went places; had fun. What has Freddie done exactly? Erm... does nothing count? Looks aren't everything, Effy - a lesson learnt from yourself. In the words of the brilliant JJ 'Stop being all fit and mysterious for a second...' What a total cow. Seriously. All this 'my parents are breaking up and therefore I am legally allowed to screw over all my friends, sleep with who I want and generally fuck up everything' attitude, the girl needs a bloody good slap. Freddie, dare I say it, deserves better.
Full on love JJ, Naomi and the prettier and more gay twin, Emily. I bet the twin who plays Katie was well gutted when she realised that she had a lisp and a weird mouth and her sister didn't. I'd be mortified. I also love Thomas. What a total sweetie. I want him to be real, and befriend me.
I used to also full on adore Pandora, until I lost all respect for her when she went and slept with Cook again, and again and again. Hello? Thomas? Idiot. Although I'm now pleased that her and Thomas are back to normal.
Seriously, Cook, do you want a cuddle? Everything will be alright pet; you're Class President, you have a fun outlook on life, just cool down and ease off, yezzir? Sexy little thing from Darby.
Am I missing out a character? Ah yes, Karen; Freddie's slutty little sister. Kudos to you for sleeping with Cook. But let's face it, you're a total annoying little shit who needs to be cut out of the series. [Jeez, just read that back to myself - how harsh am I?] {Sorry Karen}

Music Obsessishes of late;
Okay, some new downloads;
Move if you wanna - MIMS.
Yes, the man that brought you 'This is why I'm hot' has actually made a really decent song. Okay, imagine Lil Wayne's 'A Milli' mixed with Busta Rhymes' 'Automatic' - got an idea of the bass pattern? Haha. Very good. A real good beaty bass. Ya, ya.
Latin Thugs - Cypress Hill
Hmm. It annoys me. It's got a cracking bass, Grommit; but it's annoying. I can listen to it for only about a minute before I have to turn it off. I can listen to the whole song if I'm dreaming, but then again, I would be able to listen to McFly whilst dreaming so it isn't really a compliment. Featured at the very start of the legendary film that is White Chicks. Very nice latino sample. Otherwise repetitive mush.
Aint No Sunshine When She's Gone - Al Green
Possibly the best song ever? Yes? It's so beautiful. I like it best when the orchestra comes in; the violins are truly haunting and make the hairs on my neck stand up. This song is living proof that simplicity is the best motto in life.
-----
Any Skins watchers? Anyone notice 'The Dog Days Are Over' by Florence and the Machine in episode 8? I totally owned that song a full fortnight before they put it in. On the music ball? I think so :)

Hmphf.
The lack of posting is down purely to my sheer laziness.
I recently feel like I've re-discovered YouTube. I'm watching positively everything on there. Ridiculous. I suppose it's better because I'm not spending all my bloody time watching pointless television - but then again, is the TV more or less damaging than sitting staring at a laptop screen for 6 hours? I'm undecided.
I've recently been having driving lessons. Ah yes, big woop. Very exciting indeed. I feel so in explicitly independent that I might start paying for them myself. Bring on the maneuvers ! Vroom vroom, zoom zoom. I've had two so far and have booked another for this Thursday. [After my 2nd Cervical cancer jab]
Speaking of cancer... The bubbly, vibrant, little fool Jade Goody has died. Sad sad. Yes, as remorseful as that sounds, and as satirical as that sounded <- I am actually quite upset by her death. The media attention she recieved was, let's face it, ridiculous, but ultimately so flipping important. Women everywhere are now more willing to go for tests and jabs and things because Jade Goody, no matter how silly in her life, raised AWARENESS. Raising awareness is the best thing that she has ever done, well, besides having such beautiful little sons. Rest in peace Jade.
It's easter holiday next week for two weeks, then guess what. GO on, guess what.. 'What?' I hear you cry.
I HAVE 4 WEEKS LEFT OF SCHOOL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE EVER BABY, FOUR WEEKS !! Shocker, aye.
I still have to properly start revising. Shit, I'm going to fail these exams. HOWEVER, more and more frequently am I thinking about just ending it all [school, not life] and getting an agent and attempting to make it big as an actress. I really now have developed a burning desire to be an actress. Quite silly really, but ultimately a dream, and as I'm sure you all know, and as my 18 carat gold egyptian heiroglyph cartouche reads... 'dreams' are a big part of who I am. If I didn't have the constant vivid dreams that I have I would not be happy, or confident, or ambitous. These dreams are frequently spurred on their merry little ways by music from Kermit, but also can occur in English and Drama lessons, and assemblys and television programmes about how things work and 'Mythbusters' and the like.
Bloody hell, as Ron Weasley would say, I've written shit-loads, as Ray Winston may say [would he? I can't think of anyone famous who would say that..].
Bwyyeee.

Margalo.

Falling head over hills for a name doesn't really happen to me nowadays. Normally names sort of fly over my head in a manner all aloof. However, a previous discovery has come back to me recently; Margalo.
Yes, a pet form of the lumpy Margaret.
Margalo is adorable thanks to the character of the little, yellow bird; Margalo in Stuart Little 2. [See above]
I think that due to it's almost 'silly' qualities, it would be best staying as a middle name, but I really do fancy putting it up front. It's completely caught me off guard - the first name to do so since the discovery of Ellsenoor back in around October.
As a guilty pleasure, I'd pair her up with Garnet as a sibling. Oh how squishy! Introducing Garnet & Margalo ♥
Love love love.

The Results are IN.
Right then, on Thursday I had the mostly hideous task of asking my teachers what grades I achieved in my January modules.
- It started off on a kind of bad note - I got a D in my new English module. However, my spirits were lifted by the knowledge that I was only 2 marks away from a C. I'm still re-taking in the summer :)
- Secondly I got a huuuge shock when I discovered that I got a B in my English re-take. YEY! I'm not too sure yet, but I think that will lift my entire AS score up to a B now, but again, not sure.
- Then it was history time. I discovered I got an impressive and unexpected C grade in the new module that I was most worried about. I can't believe it. My teacher, who expected me to fail was exceptionally impressed. I wonder if she'll look at me differently from now on?
- Then the disappointment kicked in when she told me the results of my re-takes. I got another D in the module I thought I had performed best in. I thought I had secured at least a high C in that exam. My grade hadn't changed even slightly from the last time I took it; which is more than I can say for my Nazi re-take...
- I DID WORSE. This time last year I got a U; bummer. Then I re-took last summer and got a D - things were looking up. I re-took it again this January expected to secure a C or even better a B grade - I GOT AN E. An E ! I needn't have bothered with the re-take ! SO, I'm re-taking again in the summer for the 4th and last time. Luckily when you re-take, they keep the highest grade, so I've technically still got a D. Bloody hell.
Overall, BCDDE. Much better than last year's DDUU. :)
So, I've got 7 exams in the Summer, including my two re-takes. I'm starting revision next week.

The deepest desire of my heart.
I do not care where I live in the future. It can be a condo in Miami with a doormat that's always sandy or a teeny tiny flat in North Yorkshire. I DO NOT care. As long as I get my wall of books, SMEG fridge and cat; all will be swell. Trust me, if I one day have these 3 things, I may produce a basket full of glitter and parade around town on a giraffe's back.
I've wanted a wall of books since seeing Beauty and the Beast when I was, oh I don't know, 4? That's nearly 14 years of wanting. My.
The SMEG fridge is a bit of a crush, really. It would keep my cheese and slices of melon all fresh and cool.
The cat is a default want. It just has to happen.

Some other desire of my heart are of the fashion-nature and look something like this;

My new fashion icon is Johnny Depp. Yezzir. I want studs, tarten [plaid] and lots of layers. I want blacks and reds and silvers. Aye aye captain. It is for these reasons that I need the new Alexander Wang bag in my life;
Alternatively, one could look at MK Olsen's take on the Johnny Depp look;
Niiice.

Dead and Gone.
Oh Em Gee - like, what a morbid title, duude !
I love this song. I love this song, I love this song !!
Dead And Gone - T.I ft. Justin Timberlake is so amazing. I love it. Hello cracking bass, hello my soul.
Mmm. T.I gets more attractive every day don't you think? Ha. I don't actually find him that attractive, I just saw his little bit in the Arab Money video and thought he looked adorable.
He comes in around the 4.45 mark.

It's a good day.

Sure, it's been sunny, then rainy, then tempestuous, but today has a spring it it's step. I'm feeling so generally positive, despite the ambiguous weather, my current extreme supply of pain and huuuge amount of work that's due in tomorrow that's not been done. I'm tired. I'm aching. I'm stressed, and yet I'm so chipper. 'Tis very strange.
My Subway was a meatball one. With lettuce, tomatoes and mucho queso, si. [My love of cheese shines through every dilemma - vacation to Spain, first Spanish word I learn despite please, thank you and hello? CHEESE. Hell to the yes, people. ]

And he lives !
Kermit the little green iPod Nano is alive people. The clicky- scrolling sound is fixed thanks to a quick visit to the settings section. Random how it turned itself off eh? Normally when I reset Kermit [after it freezes] the clicky-scrolling sound remains intact. However this time it decided to turn itself off. The crafty little beggar.
Seriously, Florence and the Machine ? Total addiction right now. I quite fancy their album. Also, I've had a sneaky listen to extracts of Madcon's album and that sounds rather jazzy, too; each song listenable. [Is that a word?]
So, Monday tomorrow. Oh what will the fair morn bring? An early start and a panic as to what to wear, for sure.
Oh and Mummy bought me a book today, a collosal arse of a book. It's called 'The Dictionary of Mythology' and it's utterly beautiful. I'll be creating a post of all the most interesting names soon. Jolly wonderful.
On the clothing front, I've invested in next to nothing recently. I bought the very first ever LOVE magazine on Monday - you know, the one with a very naked and a very overweight Beth Ditto on the front? It's really good actually, but bloody thick and expensive. A total fiver. HOWEVER, it also had SPRING/SUMMER on the side which suggests to me that there will only be two issues a year. [S/S, A/W] It's from the same people that bring you Vogue, Tatler & GQ every month. Fabulous :P
