£££♥

I am most certainly not a greedy person, nor am I a materialistic person, yet here I am wanting endless amount of cash for things I don't need.

I simply do not care.

A clothing catalogue plopped its way onto our mat this fair morn. I want at least, i dunno, lets say, 60 items from it? 2 of which I very much plan to buy.

I don't need more clothes/shoes/crap. I don't really need anything, I'm at a place in my life where I feel so terribly content with everything. It's incredibly odd. ALAS! I repetitively buy shittle that clogs up my soon-to-be-re-decorated bedroom.

Example;

The other day I wandered into Dorothy Perkins [not something I take pride in; I can use my student card and get money off in there] and found myself leaving with a little beauty. A quilted little hand-bag. Much alike Chanel's classic quilted handbags.. mmmm.

[I'm unable to find a pic.]

So... got any money you don't want? I'll take it off yer hands no prob ;)

Heath to the Ledger;

You beautiful ghost. ♥

Oh Liv.

I adore Olive. I simply can't help it. I find myself more and more enamoured with the gutsy little name.

It's odd; I can't stand Olives, and can't really stand the mousy Isla Fisher, yet Olive is so incredibly pretty.

I never really used to care bout the name. My parents occasionally called me Olive because I could do a fairly good impression of Popeye's gal.

I'm really keen on the name, so much that if I suddenly discovered I was pregnant [oh hell] I'd quite happily name my daughter Olive. Middle names?

Olive Jasperine ♥
Olive Allegra Florence ♥
Olive Diana Florence ♥
Olive Jasperine Kerensa ♥ [Kerensa for my mother, Karen.]

Hmmm. I love all of them, but for the time keeping, Olive Jasperine is my favourite - as suggested by my lovely Lucinda. Thank you Inda ;)

Very interesting...

Today I noticed on a hair-gel advertisement the name Taïg. I initially thought 'Ooo, maybe it's a variation of the name Tadhg ♥'
[Tadhg = TYEg, think Tiger.]

I typed it into Wikipedia and this came up;

Taig (also Teague, Teg and Teig) is a derogatory term for an Irish Catholic.
Rarely heard outside
Ireland and Scotland, taig is the most vitriolic slur word in use against Irish Catholics and has been used by loyalists in Northern Ireland in slogans such as "If guns are made for shooting, then skulls are made to crack. You’ve never seen a better Taig than one with a bullet in his back" and "Don’t be vague, kill a Taig".

The term is a synecdoche derived from the given name Tadhg. The Irish phrase "Tadhg an dá thaobh" (Tadhg/Timmy of both sides) predates the derogatory use of the term and is similar to the contemporary expressions "average Joe" and "man on the street".

I'm not sure if this has put me off the name or not. I'm positive it hasn't, but this wee bit of info has certainly worked as a persuasive element to push Tadhg into my second favourite name slot.

How odd.

Some people piss me off.

Their pointless and endless waffle about pointless and endless crap.
Just shut-up and go home.

I come across these people regularly; their theories of hierarcy and superiority. How everything they say or do automatically is meant in the most innocent way of pleasant sweetness. How dare you accuse them of that! Are you not aware they are smokily soft and elegant and a plie of WANK?

NO; I won't apologise.
NO; I won't feel guilty fo voicing my opinion.
NO; Rory is not an acceptable girls name.

School.

Argh.
The time has arrived to return to school. For me, however, I can look forward to this year as it is my very, very last before University and the wonders of the big, wide world.

Year 13 seemed centuries away when I was in Year 4. I remember every single year of my eductaion. The first 3 in Warrington, close to Mancester. The second 3 in Largs, West Scotland, and the final 6 months of Primary school in my current location.

I feel so fortunate to have remained in one school for so long. I have been in this same, multi-million pound high school for 7 years now. I've absolutely loved it, too.

I am now what I have always wanted to be since reading Harry Potter, I am a prefect of my school. One of only 5. =D

Of course, I could have ended my life here in my high school 2 years ago, after my GCSEs. That is the end of compulsory education for many. I desired to continue through education and redeem myself for my not-so-good GCSE grades. Sure, many As and Bs, but not enough to make me feel like I'd done extremely well.

English Literature, History & Drama are the 3 A-Levels I shall complete this year, and I hope to achieve AAB. It is my absolute goal.

I'm off to History class now, Nazis and German leaders ahoy!

IwantIwantIwant. 5 I wants.

My teenie, tiny want list;

1. A classic Chanel quilted handbag.

I normally would opt for the the plain black version, but this one stands up for my beauuutifully rainy Kingdom.
It's mighty pretty, and can be seen currently on the runway and on high-in-demand models; Agyness Deyn has been spotted carrying one of these gorgeous bits of luggage.

2. A pair of Prada 'butterfly' sunnies.

Yes, the summer season is now over [did it ever really start?] but it never hurts to have a pair of sunnies in your bag, you know, just in case.
This pair of sunglasses is particularly attractive, and I simply adored the campaign for the Prada Spring/Summer collection 08, so these really do need to be on my wish-list.

3. JUNO

I must have been waiting to buy this DVD for what seems to be half my life now, and I hope to eventually purchase it soon.
It is such a witty film, with Ellen Page starring brilliantly as Juno MacGuff; the pregnant teen.
Utter brilliance.

4. To go to Birmingham University to study Archaeology & Ancient History.

Why not? I deserve to finally get where I want to be, and by jove, I've worked freakin hard to achieve my dreams....
Anywho, I can't imagine a better place for me, plus, my parents love it too. Sure, this is normally off-putting, but I constantly seek approval so it simply made the University more appealing.

5. NERD's new album.
I've had my eyes set on this album for a while now and have downloaded a few tracks. Mightily impressed, I now want moooooore. More NERD, MOOOOOOORE!

Ode to a foolish parent.

Ahh, simple-ness.

Over-fussy things thoroughly confuse and agitate me. Why name your child MacKayylah when you can call her Michaela - simple and much neater to the eyes.
This applies to the Annabella/Isabella tribe, too. Annabelle is so extremely cruddy to look at. 'But it has Belle in it - french for beautiful.' So? Annabel, or my personal preference Anabel looks so much neater, tidier and generally nicer. Same for Isabelle/Izzabell/Isobelle. Isobel is clean and takes away all those unnecessary letters.

It is common nowadays to insert random Ys and extra repeated consonants. Most who do this put it down to wanting to give their child a 'unique' spelling so that they are special.
Oh bloody fantastic. Very ingenious of you. You have managed to make a usually common name unique by adding an extra Y, I or L.
Do these parents not realise they are only making more work for themselves, children and everyone their children ever meet? An Emily becomes an Emmyleigh. A Madeleine becomes a Maddi'lynn.

How is this improving their name? It's making it an eyesore and generally more unpronounceable.

Fools.

Beefie ! ♥

Guess what!?

My wee little Beefie is all grown up and doing block-buster films and getting arrested and the like.
Oh you sweet little stud-muffin!

Shia LaBeouf has to be one of my first ever favourite actors.

When you're 12 and lucky enough to have cable television, The Disney Channel is the only channel that you ever bother watching. [I also used to watch FTV {Fashion TV} & MTV {Music TV} - I was an amazingly cool kid.]

Even Stevens was an incredibly cool show. They used to show it on the regular channels too on weekend mornings.

When asked my favourite actors back then- they were ;
1. Leonardo DiCaprio [Helloooooo, he was like, the cuuutest guy, like, everrrr !!!11!!]
2. Will Smith
3. Orlando Bloom [He's now too short and he laughs like a woman.]
4. That afro-kid from Evens Stevens. [This was because I didn't have a freakin clue what his name was.]

Bless.

When he hit 17, the film roles came in as he starred in Holes, and then other small-budget films until he had a small introduction to Steven Spielburg. Having seen his acting in Holes, Spielburg casted Beefie in Transformers.

And from there... he bloomed into one of Young Hollywood's finest.

Oh Shiiiiiia.

I feel as if I've had a part in his success, kinda. I mean, if I hadn't watched his show when he was younger, then the show wouldn't have as many ratings and would have probably been cancelled by now and Beefie would probably be in a Kellogg's Cornflakes advert alongside a child who seems to be enjoying himself.

So, yeah! I, solely made Shia LaBeouf the star he is today. Oh yes.

In your face Spielburg.
