Some pretty cool sites...

Okay, many times a day I will come on beloved laptop [who, one year on, is still un-named!].
I have regular websites that I frequent and herrrrrrre they are.

- The first site I always go onto. Check my emails, see if there are any updates on the crap I care about.

- My favourite name forum right now. It's very basic, and a close-knit community. I'm sure there are many little lurkers about but I attempt not to think about them as it would upset me so and wear off the magic.

- Of course. Some prefer Facebook, I prefer Myspace. Simple. I like being able to personalise, customise and individualise my profile. You can't show your creativity and sheer amount fo free time on facebook. [Plus I hate all the random family members that like to start chatting to me of Facebook. Go away !!]

- :D

- My Weeds & Grey's Anatomy fix. We don't get Weeds on my little island and I can't possibly wait any longer for the next series of Grey's.

- A bit like myspace.com but fashion orientated with a forum displaying jobs and businesses.

- Where I get the majority of attractive avatars and fashion photographs you see here or on any website where I frequent from.

- All my celebrity cravings. OH!
http://www.perezhilton.com/ is good for this, too.

- Fulfills all of my archaeological needs and desires.
- Where I back-up and collect the html codes for my favourite pictures/photos, etc.
- Where the inner-student researches, mingles, spies and attempts to get ahead by talking about their course.

Inspiration-ish.

Hello.

I have recently found myself addicted to swimming and becoming fit and healthy via swimming and getting remarkably good at swimming.

This is the cause of this dire monstrosity; 'Oh that Olympic guy' I hear you cry. Yes, Michael Phelps seems to be causing all sorts of sudden swimming fits.
I feel prepared for 2012 Already.

It was undescribably difficult to find a picture of Mr Phelps with a top on, not that I'm in any way, shape or form complaining. I settled for this one instead;

This photo is superb for 3 reasons;
A. You cannot see his face.
B. You can still see his body.
C. You can tell that he swimming as he is in water. [Other photos showed him on dry land. Ach, that thought of it !!]

I went swimming today actually.
I feel that I should really take advantage of having a pool a mere 10 minute walk from my house and also take advantage of my student discount. It costs me only £1.85 to get in. The average non-educated human would have to pay twice that. SCORE!

I might even go for a dip tomorrow, but I doubt I will. I have to read Enduring Love and actually pay attention to every page for English Literature. I have approximately 10 days left before I have to be in school and 13 days left before I actually begin lessons.
I need to get my wee hiney in gear pronto.

Gah!

It's been a tremendous while since I've last posted, which is utterly bizarre considering I've had nothing to do for the last freakin 4 and a half weeks [although two of them were spent in a foreign country].

I've been thinking a lot about being green recently, and not in the Grinch way.

With all my love for the planet's great apes, I feel ridiculously hypocritical by not actually doing anything what-so-ever that could be classed as helping the environment.

[Well, I always have showers, never baths - it's a contribution !]

SO! I intend to get a move on and attempt to reduce my carbon footprint. [does this only apply to drivers? Gah, god knows.]

I had my mate over last night for a Harry Potter marathon [Oh, I've moved on from the eco-friendly banter now..catch up.] and quite the marathon it was.
The first movie was fairly digestible, but then we couldn't bare Daniel Radcliffe's face much longer and switched to Troy instead.
Oh Troy. Such a pathetically historically-incorrect film. Useless pretty-boy eye candy and cringe-worthy English accents. However, I can't help but thoroughly love the film. I think because I love the story of The Battle of Troy, and desperately want to find Brad Pitt attractive [I simply DON'T!].
Anyhoo, this marathon ended with Romeo & Juliet, which is utterly brilliantly put together by Baz Lurhmann, but pisses me off with the Nancy of all men - Leonardo DiCaprio. Harold Perrineau who played Mercutio is magnificent, though.
Then, the light switched off and we talked about Global Warming and Heath Ledger until 5AM.
And now I am writing this amongst my extreme tiredness.
Good grief.
